Cervical Conization

It is an ambulatory procedure, minimally invasive and quick recovery. It is performed on patients who, through paptest or pap test, have been detected presence of cells infected with human papilloma virus (HPV), having a precancerous potential (dysplastic). It consists of removing or removing this type of tissue from the uterine cervix, with a technique called radiofrequency (LEEP), allowing to preserve the uterus and even the possibility of getting new pregnancies.
